About the company

Yolura is the operating system for wellness and beauty businesses in Nigeria — spas, salons, barbershops, nail, lash and makeup studios, tattoo and piercing studios, gyms and fitness studios, and more.

Most of this industry runs on a notebook, a WhatsApp inbox and a receptionist's memory. Owners lose money to no-shows they never counted, double-bookings they discover when two clients arrive at once, and package balances nobody can reconcile. We are building the software that replaces all of it — bookings, payments, staff, reminders, packages, reporting — designed for how Nigerian businesses actually operate, not adapted from something built for Los Angeles.

We are pre-launch. You would be joining before the first invoice is raised.

Your tasks

You are one of the first two commercial hires at Yolura, reporting directly to the CEO.

You are not selling into an existing category. Nobody in Lekki woke up this morning shopping for spa management software. Your job is to walk into a business, understand how the owner runs it today, show them what it is costing them, and put a working product on their phone before you leave.

You will own a territory in Lagos outright — on the Island or the Mainland, assigned from our mapped list and where you live. You will build the pipeline in it, run the demos in it, and close in it. The CEO closes the first deals alongside you, then hands the territory over.

The two of you will write the sales playbook every Yolura rep after you will use. That is not a perk we are dressing up. It is genuinely what the first six months are.

  • Spend your first month on discovery, not selling. You sit with owners from our mapped list, with the CEO on many of those conversations, and learn how the market actually works before you pitch it.
  • Walk 25–30 wellness businesses a week in your territory. Get past the receptionist. Get to the owner.
  • Work and extend our mapped list of Lagos wellness and beauty businesses — owner names, decision-makers, what they use today. 200+ named prospects in your territory.
  • Run 6–10 in-person demos a week, in the business itself, on the owner's own phone.
  • Close 4–6 new paying tenants a month by the end of your fourth month.
  • Own every deal in the CRM from first contact through to a paying tenant. No deal exists outside the CRM.
  • Onboard your own tenants until we hire a dedicated Customer Success lead. You sold it, you make sure it works.
  • Feed the product team what you hear in the field — weekly, specifically, with names attached.
  • Build the objection handlers, the demo flow and the follow-up sequences alongside the CEO.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years in B2B field sales — beauty, wellness, hospitality, FMCG distribution, POS or fintech agent networks, or anything else that put you in front of small business owners with a target on your back.
  • You have sold something that required explaining. Not order-taking.
  • Lagos-native, or three-plus years operating here. You know which side of Admiralty Way, or which end of Allen Avenue, is worth walking on a Tuesday.
  • You live in or near your territory and can move around it daily without it wrecking you.
  • You can shift register. The way you open with a spa owner in Ikoyi is not the way you open with a barbershop owner in Surulere, and you already know that.
  • Comfortable enough with software to run a live demo, hit an edge case, and keep talking.
  • You can walk into a busy salon at 4pm on a Saturday, read the room, and know whether to wait or come back.

WHO YOU ARE NOT

  • Looking for a desk.
  • Used to marketing handing you leads. Here you create the pipeline.
  • Treating "let me follow up next week" as a closing strategy.
  • Waiting for the product to be finished before you go outside.

What we offer

  • Base: ₦250,000 gross per month, rising to ₦300,000 when you hit your targets. First review at month three, second at month six. The targets are written into your offer, not decided later.
  • Commission: ₦40,000 per paying tenant you bring in. ₦20,000 when that tenant's first payment clears. ₦20,000 when their third consecutive payment clears.
  • For tenants on a promotional or founding-cohort period, free months don't count. Commission follows their real payments.
  • Field transport reimbursed against your visit log, up to ₦100,000 a month. Work phone provided.

One commission line, no activity bonuses. We do not pay for demos run or meetings booked — we pay for tenants who pay and stay. We will walk you through the full commission model at offer stage. Not as a teaser. As a spreadsheet.

How to apply

OUR PROCESS Screen call, then a live role-play with a real prospect scenario, then one call with all three founders, then a written offer with the full breakdown.

Apply through this posting with your CV and a short note covering:

  1. Where you live, and how you would move around Lagos daily.
  2. The hardest B2B sale you have closed. What made it hard, and what you did.
  3. Three small-business owners you already know well enough to call today. First names and business types only — we are not asking you to hand over contacts.

We read every application. You will hear from us either way within ten working days.
