SALES COORDINATOR

Location : Mombasa Road, Nairobi

Reports To : Customer Service Manager

Salary: KES 100,000 – 120,000 Gross

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, or a related field.

Experience

Minimum 3–5 years' experience in Sales Administration, Sales Coordination, or Customer Service. Experience using ERP systems and sales software is an added advantage.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and coordination abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of ERP systems and CRM software. Strong customer service and relationship management skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and WhatsApp professionally. Process customer orders accurately and promptly in the ERP system. Prepare quotations, delivery schedules, and obtain necessary approvals. Coordinate with stores, dispatch, and finance teams to ensure timely order fulfillment. Maintain accurate sales records, customer databases, and CRM information. Follow up on customer orders, pending payments, deliveries, and resolve discrepancies. Handle customer complaints, resolve issues, and escalate complex cases where necessary. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports. Support the sales team with documentation, tender submissions, and marketing materials. Monitor stock availability and communicate stock levels to relevant departments. Reconcile customer account statements with the finance team. Maintain organized digital and physical sales records. Conduct customer satisfaction follow-ups and recommend service improvements. Assist in organizing customer visits, product demonstrations, exhibitions, and marketing events.
