Backend Developer

Target Audience: Mid-to-Senior developers who love clean OOP code and complex logic. Job Title: Backend Developer – Laravel / PHP (m/f/d) Location: Vienna, Austria (Hybrid) The Role You will build the engine of the EDOS. From grading algorithms to real-time notification systems, your code will power the daily lives of schools. Key Responsibilities API Design: Design and implement robust RESTful APIs using Laravel.

Data Logic: Handle complex database relationships (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and optimize queries for speed.

Integration: Connect external services (payment gateways, LMS integrations, AI models).

Queue Management: Use Laravel Horizon to manage background jobs (e.g., report generation).

Requirements 3+ years of experience with PHP and Laravel .

Strong understanding of OOP (Object Oriented Programming) and Design Patterns.

Experience with Docker and CI/CD is a plus.

Salary Information Legal Disclaimer: We offer a salary starting at € 55,000 gross per year . The minimum annual salary according to the IT Collective Agreement (ST1/ST2) ranges from approx. € 44,400 to € 53,800. Willingness to overpay is guaranteed.
