SHIP ELECTRICIAN

Repairs/replaces wiring equipment or fixtures using hand tools or power tools. Examines electrical system of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, using and testing devices like voltmeter, ohmmeter, or oscilloscope, to confirm compatibility and safety of system. Diagnoses faulty systems, apparatus, or parts, using equipment and hand tools to find the reason for a breakdown and correct the problem. Performs routine and annual maintenance of the ship.

Qualifications/Requirements: Holds RME License.
