Company Description

Ché Orika Group runs two fashion businesses in Abuja, Nigeria. Ché Orika Boutique is a women's ready-to-wear brand designing and selling dresses, sets, playsuits, and statement pieces for women through cheorika.com, Instagram, and our boutique in Gwarimpa. The Pattern House is our garment manufacturing studio in Lifecamp, helping fashion brands, designers, and founders across Nigeria, West Africa, the UK, the US, and Canada turn concepts into production-ready garments. The studio handles end-to-end development, from pattern drafting, grading, and sampling through bulk production, finishing, and quality control, with transparent quotes, realistic timelines, and worldwide shipping. Both businesses are growing, and both need strong marketing.

Role Description

The Marketing and Creative Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Abuja, with at least two days a week at the boutique, studio, or on location. You'll be responsible for how both Ché Orika Boutique and The Pattern House show up online and in the market. Day to day, you'll plan and own the weekly content calendar, shoot and edit short-form video for Instagram, TikTok and Stories, style outfits, direct models, and choose shoot locations, and write captions that drive sales, with a price and clear call to action on every product post. You'll create B2B content that speaks to fashion brands and designers for The Pattern House, respond to DMs and comments within 30 minutes during business hours, and turn conversations into warm leads. You'll also set up and manage Meta ad campaigns, keep the content tracker up to date, and use performance data to decide what to try next. You'll work directly with the founder and have real ownership over the work.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in marketing, content creation, or social media management for a fashion, lifestyle, or consumer brand. Strong personal brand work counts.
  • Strong video skills, including shooting on a phone and editing in CapCut or similar tools, with content that feels intentional and well put together.
  • An eye for styling, visual composition, and consistent brand identity across platforms.
  • A working understanding of analytics, with the ability to explain what a post's performance means and what to try next.
  • Clear writing for captions, briefs, DM responses, and ad copy.
  • Comfort working across B2C (Ché Orika Boutique) and B2B (The Pattern House).
  • Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager, or the ability to learn it quickly.
  • Strong planning and organization, with the ability to deliver on shoot days, deadlines and campaign launches.
  • Experience in fashion or an understanding of garment production is a plus.
  • Based in Abuja and available to work on-site or on location at least two days a week.
