Groundwork Quantity Surveyor

An opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor has arisen within a residential groundworks leading contractor who have over 30 years experience in the industry. They have recently won several new projects within the residential sector and are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to continue to help towards their successful growth. Our client is based in Cambridge and have completed projects based in Suffolk, Bedfordshire & Northamptonshire. The salary that they are offering is £35,000 - £50,000 depending on experience. Roles & Responsibilities :

• Preparing, negotiating and agreeing final accounts
• Preparing sub-contract enquiries and order documentation
• Re-measurement of Bills of Quantities
• Preparing cost budgets and prices for contract variations
• Preparing subcontract valuation and payment certificates
• Monitoring costs to ensure budgets are met
