Role Description

The Centre & Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Nsawam. This is a dynamic role inside an early-stage startup currently entering an operational pivot. We are not looking for an advisory or corporate-style manager; we need a high-execution operator who is deeply comfortable with direct sales, community outreach, and building traction from the ground up. The founder provides the strategic vision and system design; your job is to execute that vision flawlessly.

This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the hub, including managing schedules, supervising team members, ensuring excellent learner and client experiences, and maintaining a safe, organized facility. The manager will lead business development activities by executing marketing strategies, promoting programs, building relationships with schools, organizations, and community groups, and driving enrollment growth.

Key Responsibilities

Flawless Execution: Implement established business models and systems to the letter, focusing entirely on delivery, operational efficiency, and meeting timelines. Direct Sales & Outreach: Conduct day-to-day business development, including visiting local schools and churches, following up on leads, and closing student enrollments. Facility Operations: Oversee daily facility operations, equipment upkeep, and a 7-day operational shift schedule. Team Supervision: Recruit, onboard, and manage shift staff, front desk personnel, and course tutors to maintain service standards. Financial Stewardship: Manage day-to-day budgets, financial tracking, and center resource allocations with total transparency.

Qualifications & Ideal Profile

Startup-Ready Mindset: Prior experience or high comfort working in a lean, fast-pivoting startup environment where resourcefulness and speed are required. Execution over Ideation: A track record of being an exceptional operational "doer" who loves managing systems, optimizing workflows, and getting tasks across the finish line. Sales & Business Development: Confident in face-to-face sales, community engagement, and driving revenue growth. Management & Coordination: Strong center management skills, including scheduling, facility oversight, and team coordination. Communication & Admin: Strong organization, reporting, basic digital communication skills, and precise attention to detail. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Location: Comfort working on-site in Nsawam and engaging actively with the local community.

What We Offer

Competitive base salary. Performance-based financial incentives tied directly to center enrollment and growth milestones. Direct mentorship and input from the founder and the opportunity to run an active hub. No accommodation provided at the moment so proximity to location is a plus.
