*Job Overview* We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sandwich Maker to join our dynamic food service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and other menu items in a fast-paced environment, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to food safety standards. *Duties*
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to company recipes and customer specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations in compliance with health regulations
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage multiple orders efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Assist customers with menu selections, upselling additional items to enhance their experience
- Handle cash transactions accurately and provide excellent customer service
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed at all times
- Support team members during busy periods by performing various kitchen tasks as needed
- Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
*Experience*
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Experience in cashiering, serving, or restaurant operations is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to fast-paced settings
