Senior Embedded Software Engineer
Vereist:GitQA/TestCI/CDHybrid
We are working on a long-term embedded software development project in the medical technology domain, focused on software for advanced medical devices used in real clinical environments.
The project is entering a multi-year development roadmap and combines embedded software development with hands-on work on physical devices available in our lab. You will work closely with engineers, QA, and product teams, contributing to the development and continuous improvement of a mature medical technology product.
Daily tasks
- Develop and maintain embedded software for medical devices used in real clinical environments
- Work with C/C++ and Qt on a mature, large-scale embedded software product
- Develop and maintain embedded user interfaces using Qt/QML or Qt Widgets
- Work with embedded Linux and physical target hardware
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve defects in an existing codebase
- Deliver smaller features, enhancements, and software improvements independently
- Debug software directly on target hardware and optimize performance and memory usage
- Collaborate closely with the customer’s engineering, QA, and product teams
- Contribute to technical discussions and decisions
- Support knowledge sharing and maintain high software quality standards
- Follow established requirements, testing, documentation, and traceability practices
- Work in a hybrid model with regular office presence in Wrocław
