Project Manager (PMP / Government Sector)

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate the end-to-end delivery of technology projects. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered successfully within agreed scope, timeline, budget and quality standards. Working Hours: Mon-Fri Working Location: Central Job Type: Contract Salary Package: Up to $9500 (basic) + AWS Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle , from initiation and planning through implementation, deployment and closure. Develop and maintain project plans covering scope, schedule, milestones, resources, dependencies and deliverables . Coordinate cross-functional teams including business users, developers, infrastructure teams, vendors and other technical stakeholders . Gather and understand business requirements and work with technical teams to translate requirements into actionable project deliverables. Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies and changes . Manage project budgets, resources and timelines to ensure successful delivery. Facilitate project meetings, workshops, status reviews and steering committee updates. Prepare regular project status reports, dashboards and management presentations . Coordinate and track SIT, UAT, deployment, go-live and post-implementation activities . Manage vendors and third-party service providers, including deliverables, timelines and service quality. Ensure projects comply with relevant governance, security, risk and quality requirements . Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain effective communication across business and technology teams. Support procurement, tendering and contract/vendor management activities where required. Drive issue resolution and ensure timely escalation of critical project risks or blockers. Conduct post-implementation reviews and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Requirements Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related discipline . Relevant experience in IT Project Management or technology project delivery . Proven experience managing projects across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) . Good understanding of Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall methodologies . Experience managing project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues and resources . Strong stakeholder and vendor management experience. Experience coordinating SIT, UAT, implementation and production deployment activities. Good understanding of enterprise applications, system integrations, infrastructure or cloud environments would be advantageous. Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps or equivalent . Strong communication, presentation, planning and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams. PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master or other relevant project management certifications would be advantageous.
