The Financial Process and Systems Development team within Sandvik Group Control, has an overall responsibility for, and development of, the financial and group reporting systems of the organization. We manage accounting, financial reporting and internal control to successfully supply process and information owners with methods, tools and guidance for an efficient process. We are now looking for an analytical and structured Finance Process Developer to join our team in Sandviken. This is a great opportunity to specialize within the field, and we welcome applicants that are both experienced professionals as well as in the initial stages of their career.

Your mission – Ensuring accuracy and collaboration in our financial reporting In this position, you participate in the evaluation and development of Sandvik’s Group Reporting System. Planning and preparing the system for monthly and quarterly reporting is included in your tasks, as is producing reports and analysis needed for the business control network. You document our current work, while at the same time managing change requests and suggesting improvements.

You add value to the organization by collaborating with colleagues - ensuring high quality and accuracy in financial closing processes - and you provide support and problem solving for various business and production units. Together with other group finance departments and business area’s representatives, you take an active role in developing a future strategy for Sandvik’s financial reporting and group consolidation processes. Additionally, you train others and share your knowledge of our processes and tools.

Your character – A structured, informative and creative networker We are looking for someone with a degree in Finance or IT and experience from working in one, or both of these areas. Experience from customer-focused international environments and managing projects is also advantageous. To succeed in this position, you need to be fluent in both verbal and written Swedish and English.
