SMP PROJECT MANAGER

Description

The SMP Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and closing projects within scope, schedule, quality, and budget requirements. The role works closely with cross-functional teams, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery while maintaining compliance with company standards, safety requirements, and business objectives.

Responsibilities

Project Planning &Execution

• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource requirements.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Lead project execution from initiation through completion.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when required.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
• Facilitate project meetings and provide regular status updates.
• Manage expectations and ensure effective communication across all project teams.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external contractors/vendors.

Budget & Cost Control

• Prepare project budgets, forecasts, and cost estimates.
• Track project expenditures and monitor financial performance.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining project objectives.
• Ensure proper approval and documentation for project-related expenses.

Requirements

• Preferably bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Preferably Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Preferably 10 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas or related industries, at least 5 years in Superintendent or Managerial position.
• Preferably knowledge in process plant maintenance and ability to manage projects
