Job Title: Consultant Histopathologist Grade: Consultant Location: South Wales Working Hours: Full-time, 10 PAs (with flexibility for part-time applicants) Salary: £105,504 – £139,882 per annum
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Consultant Histopathologist to join our client’s team of dedicated Cellular Pathologists. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a vibrant and historic town, with a rich cultural heritage and modern amenities.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnosing and studying disease in tissues and organs
Examining samples of tissue, usually a small biopsy, and detecting changes that explain what is causing a patient’s illness
Working closely with other doctors, scientists, and healthcare staff to manage a patient’s care
Qualifications
Full registration and licence to practise with the GMC and be on the Specialist Register in Histopathology (or be eligible within six months of interview)
UK-trained applicants must hold a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or be within six months of award by the date of interview
FRCPath (Part 1 and Part 2)
