QS (ID)

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced Interior Design Quantity Surveyor (ID QS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all cost-related aspects of interior design and fit-out projects, ensuring that projects are completed within budget, scope, and timeline.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare Preliminary Budgetary Costing for Incoming New Project
2. Able to study drawing, analyze drawing and do taking off based on perspective and Design Drawings.
3. Call quotation and evaluation of quotation. Source suppliers and subcontractors as needed.
4. Preparation of quotation for submission to Client.
5. Administer contracts and ensure compliance with terms. Manage Varia􀆟on Order (VOs), change requests and claims.
6. Prepare project budget costing, Cost Control and Monitoring
7. Prepare Progress Claim
8. Evaluate and Prepare Payment Certificate to Sub-Contractors / Specialists for completed works
9. Work with Finance Team on Monthly Projected Cashflow
10. Prepare Costing Report & Weekly Presentation to Management
11. Work closely with Designers, Contractors and Clients to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of projects.

Requirements:

1. Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Interior Design, or a related field.
2. Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in interior fit-out or construction QS roles (Singapore experience preferred).
3. Strong knowledge of local construction and ID materials.
4. Proficient in AutoCAD or Sketch Up
5. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Attributes:

1. Prior experience working with interior design/architecture firms or ID contractors in Singapore

Working Hours:

1. Monday to Friday, 10AM – 7PM / 8.30-5.30pm / 9.00-6.00pm
