Job Overview We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision and creativity
- Supervise kitchen staff, including training and mentoring team members
- Manage food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
- Oversee food service operations, ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for ingredient procurement
- Ensure adherence to restaurant policies, standards, and procedures
- Lead by example in providing excellent customer service and hospitality
- Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes to enhance customer experience
Requirements
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and food presentation
- Excellent team management and leadership abilities
- Solid restaurant management knowledge including operations, staffing, and customer service
- Expertise in food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
- Extensive restaurant experience with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Knowledge of the food industry trends and best practices in hospitality
- Ability to serve as a role model for professionalism and teamwork
- Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment
