As a UI/UX Designer at Neptune Software, you will play a central role in shaping the user experience of the Neptune DX Platform - t he tool trusted by enterprises worldwide to build powerful business applications. You'll bridge the gap between complex technical capabilities and intuitive, elegant interfaces, working hand-in-hand with product managers and engineers to craft experiences that genuinely delight our customers.
Location: Oslo
Responsibilities Own the end- to -end design process from discovery and user research through wire framing , prototyping , and final UI delivery. Translate complex enterprise workflows and user needs into clear , intuitive, and visually compelling product experiences. Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to ensure designs are feasible , consistent , and aligned with business goals. Conduct user interviews , usability tests , and competit or analyses to inform design decisions. Maintain and evolve Neptune's design system , ensuring consistency across the platform. Present and communicate design concepts to stake holders , incorporating feedback iteratively. Advocate for the end user through out the product development lifecycle.
Your profile Your profile Minimum Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in product designe r UI/UX design, ideally in a B2B or enterprise software environment. Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to end product design work across web or desktop applications. Proficiency in generating prototypes with the help of AI and iterating on them quickly. Solid understanding of UX principles , interaction design patterns , and accessibility standards. Good frontend development capabilities, including an understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Experience working in agile, cross-functional product teams alongside engineers and PMs. Strong communication skills with the ability to present and defend design decisions clearly.
Preferred Qualifications Experience designing for enterprise platforms, low-code/no-code tools, or developer-facing products. Familiarity with design systems: building, maintaining , or contributing to one. Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with engineers. Experience conducting user research and translating insights into actionable design improvements. Exposure to the SAP ecosystem or similar enterprise software landscapes is a plus A collaborative mindset with a passion for mentoring peers and contributing to a design culture.
