To be considered, you must meet all of the following requirements:
- Minimum 12 months’ experience within financial services
- Direct experience working with retail investors, retail clients, financial advisers or retail investment products
- Strong experience handling client/investor queries by telephone and email
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, service-focused environment

THE OPPORTUNITY
A leading investment management business is looking for an Investor Relations Executive to join its Retail Investor Relations team in London.
The team provides support to retail investors and their appointed financial advisers. This is a highly client-facing role, with the successful candidate responsible for managing inbound queries, processing investor administration and supporting the wider Retail Sales and Investor Relations teams.
You will need to be comfortable dealing directly with investors and advisers, providing accurate information and resolving queries efficiently within defined SLAs.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Respond to inbound retail investor and financial adviser queries via telephone and email.
- Handle queries accurately and efficiently within agreed SLAs.
- Assist with the investor portal.
- Manage investor administration from start to finish, including transfers and exits .
- Prepare and distribute investor communications, including valuations, reports, factsheets and dividend announcements.
- Support the Retail Sales team and attend meetings with clients to provide updates on fund performance.
- Become a Product Champion for one of the firm's tax-efficient investment products.
- Support product-related projects and initiatives alongside the Investor Relations Associate.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce errors and improve the investor experience.
- Monitor investor feedback and identify opportunities to improve service.
- Organise and attend investor events.
- Support client retention initiatives.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
ESSENTIAL
You must have:
- At least 12 months of experience in financial services.
- Retail financial services experience – this is essential.
- Experience dealing directly with retail investors, retail clients and/or financial advisers.
- Experience handling customer/client queries by telephone and email .
- Good understanding of retail investment products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive approach to improving processes and client service.
- The ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure.
- Existing, unrestricted UK right to work.
DESIRABLE
- Knowledge of tax-efficient investment products such as VCTs, EIS and Business Relief .
- Experience working with investor portals or investment administration systems.
- Experience within an investment manager, wealth manager, platform or similar retail investment business.
PLEASE NOTE
Retail financial services experience is a genuine requirement for this role.
Candidates whose experience is solely in institutional financial services, general administration, non-financial-services customer service, corporate client servicing or unrelated sectors will not be considered.
