*Duties*
- Assist roofers with the installation, repair, and replacement of roofing materials.
- Load, unload, carry, and organize roofing materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist with preparing roof surfaces and removing old roofing materials.
- Set up and safely use ladders, scaffolding, and fall-protection equipment.
- Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Assist with measuring, cutting, and fitting roofing materials as directed.
- Follow instructions from roofers and site supervisors.
- Maintain a safe work environment and follow all workplace safety procedures.
- Dispose of construction debris and keep the job site clean and organized.
- Work safely and efficiently in various weather conditions and at heights.
*Qualifications*
- Previous construction or roofing experience is an asset, but not required.
- Must be comfortable working at heights and on sloped roofs.
- Ability to climb ladders and safely use fall-protection equipment, including safety harnesses.
- Physically fit and able to lift, carry, and move roofing materials and equipment.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong awareness of workplace health and safety procedures.
- Must be comfortable with physical, hands-on work for extended periods.
- Valid driver?s license and reliable transportation are an asset.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
