Your mission

What will you do as a DevOps Engineer?

Macaw's DevOps Engineers are a close-knit group of professionals who work together in a practical, down-to-earth environment to design, build, and continuously improve Microsoft Azure cloud platforms. We support national and international customers in strengthening the stability, availability, security, and scalability of their Azure environments.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will help set up, monitor, manage, and support Microsoft Azure-based IaaS and PaaS environments. You will do this as part of a team of around 30 engineers, consultants, and architects, combining hands-on technical delivery with a customer-focused mindset.

You will become a trusted technical lead for one or more customers and act as a key sparring partner for the Service Delivery Manager. In this role, you are not only strong in delivery and operations, but you are also comfortable stepping into a consultancy role when needed, leading assessments, advising clients, and helping translate technical challenges into practical solutions. At Macaw, you will also have plenty of room to grow further, for example into Azure Architecture, Azure Networking, Cloud Security, or Azure DevOps, with future opportunities to develop into an Azure Architect or Technical Consultant.

• At least 4 years of relevant experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably in customer-facing or managed services environments;
• Experience working with ITIL-based processes and service-oriented delivery;
