Liquid Personnel are currently looking for an experienced Child Protection Advisor to join the Child Protection Conference Team in Haringey.

In this role you will:

Chair Child Protection Conferences and Contextual Safeguarding Child in Need meetings, providing independent oversight and ensuring robust, SMART and child-centred plans are developed and progressed

Facilitate high quality multi-agency discussion, enabling balanced, analytical and defensible decision making around risk, need and protection

Provide expert safeguarding advice to practitioners and maintain oversight of child protection and contextual safeguarding plans

Contribute to quality assurance activity, audit work and practice improvement across children’s services

Essential requirements of this Child Protection Advisor role:

Social Work qualification with active Social Work England registration

Substantial post-qualification experience within statutory children’s safeguarding services

Experience of chairing complex multi-agency meetings

Strong knowledge of child protection legislation, statutory guidance and contextual safeguarding
