Extrusion Operator

With forty-five years of experience in compounding, extrusion and recycling of plastics, the company is now an internationally established value.

This is a combined position involving both extrusion and forklift duties. Approximately 70% of the job involves operating a forklift, so relevant experience and a valid forklift certificate are required.

• Operating and monitoring the extrusion line
• Checking the production process and ensuring the machines run correctly
• Supplying the production line with materials
• Moving raw materials and finished products using a forklift
• Placing products correctly on the conveyor belt
• Identifying and resolving minor machine faults
• Carrying out the necessary process and quality checks
• Keeping the workstation and machines clean and safe
• Previous experience as an operator, preferably in extrusion or an industrial production environment
• Forklift experience and a valid forklift certificate are essential
• Willing to work in a 2-shift system
• Sufficient knowledge of Dutch, French or English to understand work and safety instructions
• Good technical understanding and a strong focus on safety
• Reliable, accurate and able to work independently
