Production Operator
Position: Production Operator
Employment Type: Full-Time
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Lunch Break: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Job Responsibilities / Scope of Work
- Perform daily production activities according to work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Remove labels from drums as required and ensure all labels are properly removed.
- Conduct quality control (QC) checks on drums to ensure they meet the required quality standards.
- Inspect drums for defects, damage, cleanliness, and other abnormalities.
- Stack and arrange drums properly at designated loading bays to ensure safe storage and handling.
- Ensure drums are handled and stacked safely according to company procedures.
- Assist with loading bay operations and the movement of drums when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the production and loading bay areas.
- Follow workplace safety regulations and company procedures at all times.
- Report any damaged drums, quality issues, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Minimum secondary education or equivalent.
- Previous experience in production, warehouse, or manufacturing operations is an advantage.
- Able to perform physical tasks, including handling and stacking drums, in accordance with safe handling procedures.
- Responsible, physically fit, and attentive to detail.
- Able to follow work instructions and safety procedures.
- Willing to work overtime when required.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
