Accountabilities: The Loop Recorder Device Specialist is responsible for remotely monitoring patients with implantable loop recorder devices, interpreting device diagnostics, and ensuring accurate clinical documentation. The role requires strong cardiac rhythm knowledge, attention to detail, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to support effective patient management.

Perform remote monitoring evaluations of implantable loop recorder devices using specialized software platforms.

Analyze and interpret device diagnostics, ECG/EGM data, and patient information to identify relevant clinical findings.

Recognize abnormal device function, programming concerns, and potential issues requiring escalation or corrective action.

Communicate device findings and recommendations clearly with clinical teams and healthcare providers through accurate documentation.

Follow established monitoring schedules, workflows, and clinical best practices to support consistent patient care.

Maintain compliance with confidentiality requirements, including HIPAA and protected health information standards.

Collaborate with product teams to improve loop recorder workflows, software functionality, and operational processes.

Support department operations by maintaining accurate records, managing data, and assisting with reporting activities.

Maintain knowledge of cardiac monitoring products, services, and evolving clinical technologies.

Contribute to a patient-focused culture by delivering reliable, professional, and compassionate support.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cardiac rhythm management, strong technical abilities, and the ability to interpret complex cardiac device information. This role requires independent work habits, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering accurate clinical support.

Undergraduate degree in Life Sciences or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Cardiac Rhythm Management industry.

Recent experience managing implantable loop recorder devices, with LINQ experience preferred.

Hands-on experience interrogating and interpreting diagnostics from at least three major device manufacturers, including Medtronic, Abbott, Boston Scientific, or Biotronik.

Strong ECG/EGM interpretation skills, including recognition of complex arrhythmias.

Experience with cardiac device diagnostics and remote monitoring technologies.

Moderate to advanced technical skills and ability to learn specialized platforms quickly.

Strong analytical, organizational, and time management abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with remote teams.

Reliable home workspace, strong internet connectivity, and ability to remain focused in a remote environment.

Ability to successfully complete a technical assessment during the interview process.

Current certification preferred, including CCI credentials (CCT, CRAT, etc.) or IBHRE certifications (CCDS, CEPS, CDRMS).

Must reside and work from within the contiguous United States.
