Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Purchase Specialist to join our Procurement Team. The ideal candidate will have strong end-to-end procurement experience within the Food Manufacturing industry , with solid knowledge of purchasing Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, and other production and operational requirements . Key Responsibilities Manage the full purchasing cycle from purchase requisition to delivery .

Handle purchasing activities for Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, and other production requirements .

Source and evaluate new suppliers according to company requirements and approved supplier criteria.

Request and compare quotations from multiple suppliers.

Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions.

Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with approved procedures.

Follow up closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Quality, R&D, Finance, and other departments to ensure material availability.

Monitor inventory requirements and coordinate purchasing plans based on production needs and stock levels.

Follow up on delayed, partial, or incomplete deliveries and resolve related issues.

Ensure purchased materials meet approved specifications and quality requirements in coordination with the Quality and R&D teams.

Maintain and update supplier databases, quotations, prices, lead times, and purchasing records.

Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, price, delivery, and service.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers without compromising quality.

Monitor market prices and market trends for raw materials and packaging materials.

Prepare purchasing reports and provide regular updates on open orders, pending deliveries, and supplier performance.

Ensure proper documentation and filing of all purchasing transactions.

Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies, procedures, and approval limits.

Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Purchasing cost savings and cost reduction.

Availability of raw materials and packaging materials according to production requirements.

On-time delivery rate of purchased materials.

Supplier performance and reliability.

Purchase price variance against approved budgets/targets.

Reduction of purchasing lead times.

Accuracy and timeliness of Purchase Orders.

Reduction of emergency purchases.

Supplier quality and rejection rate.

Timely resolution of supplier-related issues.

Compliance with procurement policies and approval procedures.

Accuracy and completeness of purchasing records and reports.

Development of alternative and reliable suppliers.

Internal customer satisfaction across Production, Warehouse, Quality, R&D, and Finance.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain, or a related field.

3–7 years of experience in Procurement/Purchasing.

Previous experience in the Food Manufacturing industry is a MUST.

Strong experience in purchasing Raw Materials and Packaging Materials .

Solid knowledge of the full purchasing cycle is required.

Experience dealing with local suppliers; experience with imported materials is a plus.

Strong supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

Good understanding of purchase orders, quotations, payment terms, lead times, and delivery schedules.

Strong knowledge of procurement procedures and documentation.

Experience working with ERP systems; Odoo experience is a plus.

Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Good command of English.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple suppliers and priorities simultaneously.
