Electrical Engineer
Job Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for automated test equipment, including control circuits, power distribution, signal conditioning and servo-drive systems.
- Conduct EMC and power-integrity simulation and verification to ensure system stability and reliable high-speed signal and motion-control performance.
- Select electrical components including industrial control systems, servo drives, sensors and power modules.
- Develop and maintain electrical BOMs, schematics and wiring specifications.
- Work closely with assembly and commissioning teams on prototype electrical wiring, power-on debugging and troubleshooting.
- Prepare electrical design documentation and process specifications.
- Support the Malaysia mass-production team with electrical process optimisation and production-line troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of electrical design experience within precision automation equipment.
- Experience with semiconductor or optical test equipment will be advantageous.
- Proficient in electrical design tools such as EPLAN, CAD or equivalent.
- Familiar with industrial control systems and servo motion control.
- Knowledge of industrial communication buses such as EtherCAT and PROFINET.
- Understanding of EMC design requirements and specifications.
- Experience developing high-speed signal test equipment and motion-control systems will be advantageous.
