Sales Engineer

Job Overview We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our team at a company operating in the petroleum services sector. You will act as the link between clients and our technical and commercial teams, and you will be responsible for following tenders from the moment they are issued through to award. Key Responsibilities Track tenders and bids for oil and gas projects, and analyze their requirements.

Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals in coordination with the relevant departments.

Review technical specifications (Scope of Work, Technical Specifications) and ensure the proposal complies with them.

Maintain continuous communication with clients to understand their project needs and identify the right supplier or solution for each project.

Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain quotations and specifications.

Follow up on submitted proposals with clients and negotiate technical and commercial terms.

Build and maintain long-term client relationships.

Prepare periodic reports on tender status and sales opportunities.

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics / Petroleum or equivalent).

Experience in technical sales or tendering, preferably in the oil and gas industry.

Good understanding of technical specifications, with the ability to read drawings and datasheets.

Ability to analyze tenders and prepare financial proposals.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Fluent English (written and spoken).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.

Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of oil company prequalification procedures (Vendor Registration).

Previous experience dealing with national or international oil companies.

Valid driver’s license.
