ABOUT YOU
You have:
- Knowledge of customer behaviours and market trends in retail that can help IKEA to gain insights to better attract, develop and retain customers.
- Experience and knowledge of profiling, modelling, analysing and reporting on all data, cross-channel, to gain actionable insights for business purposes and decision making
- Knowledge of how to systematically create, capture, share, manage and utilize insights created elsewhere within IKEA
- Motivation and passion for leading, inspiring and developing co-workers both within the Centre of Expertise and in the Markets
- Knowledge of how to govern and manage customer information in a responsible way to build trustful customer relationships
- Ability to create and implement change initiatives and manage stakeholders in IKEA
- Knowledge of designing and developing learning materials to enable co-workers to develop their competencies
- Ability to turn strategic insights into practice
- Knowledge of IKEAs corporate identity, core values and vision
- Ability to communicate verbally, visually and in writing in an inspirational way with IKEA tone of voice
- Strong analytical & data management skills
- Strong Leadership skills and the ability to use sound judgements to make timely and effective decisions
- Minimum of 10 years of working with strategic insights & data management
- Strong data visualization and presentation skills with experience in using quantitative and qualitative data
ABOUT THE JOB
You will lead the creation of inspiring & consistent range & product presentation and visual identity for the markets across all channels and formats. You will drive towards a home furnishing movement and an open and sharing climate, being a role model of the IKEA values where our co-workers are informed, engaged and empowered
You will:
- Lead the Home Furnishing & Retail Experience Design of Expertise and be responsible for the overall performance
- Be an active member of the Market Support management team
- Lead the Centre of Expertise to design retail environments (e.g., visual merchandising, rooms, graphic comms, etc.)
- Ensure solutions are developed to marry the needs of INGKA markets and R&S HFB priorities as reflected in One IKEA BPL
- Provide strategic & business related input to Inter IKEA (IIS) on core area development, based on market input
- Proactively contribute to IKEA BPL discussions to ensure range presentation needs & developments are incorporated in the future direction of Market Support
- Lead the sharing of best practices within INGKA markets, Market Support, and R&S
- Lead the sharing of expertise with the markets and support in translating IIS direction in local installations
- Act as matrix manager; coach and informal mentor to Com&In leaders in the market, working with Learning Developers & HR BPs to develop content for competence development and facilitate best practice sharing with the markets
- Lead, coach and develop a team of range leaders & specialists
- Work across functions within INGKA Group and in good collaboration with other IKEA businesses
