As a Software Engineer at Hartwig Medical Foundation, you will work on the platform that enables data-driven decision making and advanced molecular diagnostics for the treatment of patients with cancer. You will be part of a close-knit, multidisciplinary team of software engineers, bioinformaticians, scientists, and clinicians, and play a key role in the continued development of our platform. What You Will Do

You will help drive the development of our platform and actively contribute to its architecture, quality, and future readiness:

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of scientists, clinicians, and engineers to design, develop, and maintain the platform. Write clean, efficient, and scalable code to implement new features and functionality, and improve existing components.
• Develop algorithms and data processing pipelines to extract meaningful insights from diverse datasets, working closely with data scientists and analysts to integrate molecular and clinical data into the platform.
• Collaborate with external partners and third-party vendors to integrate external systems and data sources, ensuring seamless data flow and high data quality between different systems.
• Identify areas for improvement and optimization within the platform, and contribute to architecture and design discussions to enhance its capabilities and scalability.
• Design and implement unit tests, integration tests, and automated testing frameworks to ensure the reliability and robustness of the platform. Perform rigorous testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
