At EMPWR in Leerdam, a modern food production environment, we produce nutritional bars for customers all over the world. We are looking for a Mixer who will be responsible for operating cooking and mixing equipment and contributing to a smooth and efficient production process.

Leerdam is easily accessible from Gorinchem, Vianen, Culemborg, Geldermalsen, Meerkerk, and surrounding areas.

What are you going to do? As a Mixer, you are responsible for operating our cooking and mixing equipment and ensuring that our semi-finished products meet the highest quality standards. In addition, you are responsible for troubleshooting malfunctions and monitoring product quality and the production process.

As a Mixer, your responsibilities include:

• Operating and performing daily maintenance on cooking and mixing equipment;
• Carrying out and recording quality checks;
• Troubleshooting malfunctions and monitoring the production process;
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in accordance with BRC, IFS, and HACCP guidelines;
• Performing product changeovers and carrying out all other activities within the department.

In addition:

• Shift work: working in 3-shift or 5-shift rotations (the shift schedule and working hours will be clearly agreed upon with you in advance).
• Working hours: full-time position (fixed weekly hours according to a set schedule).
• Physical demands: standing work, regular lifting, and a fixed work pace that is easy to learn.
• You work both independently and as part of a team.
