Ejebe Ambassador (Aba)

Job Summary We are seeking highly motivated, trustworthy, and detail-oriented individuals to join our founding team as Ejebe Ambassadors in Aba. In this role, you will be the on-the-ground face of Ejebe.com, responsible for building the most accurate and reliable directory of local businesses in the city. As an Ejebe Ambassador, you will be the first point of contact for many local businesses, helping them become visible on our platform. You will need to effectively communicate Ejebe’s mission of building trust and supporting local commerce. You should be able to work independently, manage your time effectively, and contribute to the success of Ejebe’s data quality goals. This is a field-based role centered on verification and data collection, not traditional sales. Responsibilities

Conduct on-site visits to local businesses in assigned Aba neighborhoods to verify their operational status, physical location, and core details. Meticulously collect and record accurate business information (e.g., opening hours, specific services, contact details) using our designated digital submission platform. Capture high-quality, authentic photographs of business storefronts, interiors, and products according to Ejebe’s official brand and photography guidelines. Professionally introduce Ejebe’s mission to business owners and clearly explain the benefits of having a free, verified listing on the platform. Build rapport and act as a positive, trustworthy representative of the Ejebe brand within the community. Maintain clear and timely communication with the Ejebe admin team, including updating task trackers and providing notes on field activities. Achieve or exceed weekly verification targets while consistently maintaining high standards of data quality and accuracy.

Requirements

Deep, verifiable knowledge of Aba’s neighborhoods, major commercial areas, and local culture. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility (fluency in both English and Igbo is a significant advantage). Strong sense of professionalism, reliability, honesty, and meticulous attention to detail. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proven ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively. Proficiency with modern smartphones, mobile applications, and digital photography. A genuine passion for supporting local businesses and contributing to Aba’s community growth. Access to a modern smartphone with a good quality camera and reliable internet connectivity.

Stable Monthly Salary: A flat monthly salary of ₦50,000, contingent on meeting baseline performance expectations. Weekly Operational Stipend: A fixed payment of ₦7,000 provided at the start of each week to cover all your transport and data expenses, ensuring you never have to pay out-of-pocket to do your job.
