Handover Engineer

The Handover Engineer is responsible for coordinating and managing the successful handover of completed works, systems, and facilities from construction/installation teams to the client, operations, or maintenance team. The role ensures that all technical, quality, documentation, testing, commissioning, and contractual requirements are completed before final handover.

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural, or another relevant engineering discipline.

Typically 3–7 years of relevant experience in construction, commissioning, project close-out, or handover activities.

Experience working with contractors, consultants, clients, and multidisciplinary project teams.

Good understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, inspection procedures, testing, and commissioning.

Strong knowledge of project documentation and handover requirements.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

Experience with document control systems and project management software is an advantage.
