Senior Bookkeeper

Role: Senior Bookkeeper

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Location: Leeds

Work Pattern: Monday to Friday. 0900-1700, office based

Our client is seeking to appoint an experienced bookkeeper to its existing team

Duties for the Senior Bookkeeper:

-process transactions

-prepare, check and submit VAT returns

-reconcile bank accounts

-assist with accounts preparation

-assist with client bookkeeping queries

Experience for the Senior Bookkeeper:

-previous UK based Accountancy Firm experience

-strong bookkeeping experience

-strong working knowledge of current bookkeeping software packages

-excellent communication skills

-AAT qualified/ part qualified

-knowledge of VAT schemes
