In Prague within the banking industry, we are actively seeking a professional to strengthen our team. This role was created to support a growing internal team responsible for improving and modernizing core business processes within the organization. The position focuses on increasing operational efficiency, streamlining workflows, and contributing to the development of scalable, effective solutions that support long-term business goals.

This is you Strong experience with Java and backend development.

Experience with AWS , particularly Fargate and Lambda .

Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational databases.

Experience designing and developing APIs .

Familiarity with React and frontend development is a plus.

Understanding of application performance and security .

Experience working in an Agile environment .

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills .

Ability to work independently and collaboratively .

Nice to have: Knowledge of the banking domain.

This is your role Develop and maintain backend services in Java , deployed on AWS environments such as Fargate and Lambda .

Work with relational databases, mainly PostgreSQL , or other appropriate database solutions.

Contribute to the design and implementation of APIs for frontend applications.

Apply practical knowledge of AWS cloud services and follow agile development practices.

Support efforts to improve application performance and security.

Occasionally assist with frontend development in React ; prior frontend experience is a plus.

Bring strong communication skills, analytical thinking, independence, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
