Competitive starting pay: $20/ plus $1.50 night shift premium as well as annual increases based on performance and a potential bonus opportunity twice a year

Schedule: We work 12 hour rotating shifts with every other weekend off. We are hiring for night shift 4pm-4am. Moving to days 4am-4pm is based on hire date

Duties of the Assistant Operator include:

Raw material transfer systems for facility extruders

Locate raw materials in the warehouse

Responsible for maintaining resin silo levels and refilling when needed

Provide relief coverage for other extrusion operators during breaks

Become familiar with mixer job requirements for the facility

Record material identification and amounts of material used

Package and properly label finished material and place in holding area

Wear proper PPE as designated by the work instruction.

Maintain clean and safe working environment

Preferred experience, training and skills:

High school diploma or GED REQUIRED

Ability to work on a rotating 12 hour shift schedule from 4pm-4am

Basic computer skills

Ability to stand/walk up to 12 hours during the shift

Ability to lift 50 lbs as needed

Ability to climb stairs multiple times a day as needed
