Your Role:
Are you a procurement professional who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, supplier management and project execution?
At AME, we are looking for a Project Buyer who will play a key role in bringing innovative high-tech products to market. Working closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality and Supply Chain, you will ensure that the right suppliers, components and commercial agreements are in place to support successful New Product Introductions (NPI).
As the link between Engineering and Procurement, you will translate technical requirements into effective sourcing strategies while ensuring quality, cost efficiency and timely delivery. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on the successful industrialization of new products within our fast-growing high-tech environment.
Key Responsibilities: -
- Drive supplier and component selection for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects in line with the procurement category strategy.
- Source and order prototypes, tooling and samples while supporting qualification and industrialization activities.
- Identify and mitigate procurement risks related to supply continuity, quality, capacity, lead times, compliance and single-source dependencies.
- Identify opportunities to optimize inventory and working capital through improvements in MOQ, lead times and supplier collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality and Finance to ensure project milestones and procurement requirements are met.
