The Projects Manager supports ACT by providing Project Management for issues & opportunities that fall outside of the normal scope of Field Service Technicians. This manager utilizes a network of subcontractors and internal resources to help cultivate and execute comprehensive creative & prompt solutions to issues or tasks that arise, acting as the SME on uncommon and complex issues.

Responsibilities

Receive and respond to Special Projects requests as assigned

Manage projects through the project life cycle from initiation to final completion.

Provide planning, quotation, budget, schedule, contractor coordination, administration, oversight, and tracking for accepted Special Projects

Provide regular updates to Special Project stakeholders including weekly meetings with Field Service Managers and clients

Track and document progress in work orders for transparent and effective communication

Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure work is completed on time and within budget.

Manage multiple projects with a range of different clients and project sizes.

Qualifications:

5+ years' experience in PV maintenance, project management, or electrical engineering preferred

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, construction management, or related fields preferred

Electrical Engineering background or technical background preferred

Demonstrated ability to oversee subcontractor performance and ensure projects are completed on schedule

Proficient at reading and interpreting drawing sets
