CNC Machinist (Automation & CNC Milling) | Marsiling | Up to S$3,500 + AWS + Bonus

Working Hours

All positions are assigned to a fixed shift without rotation .

Positions 1 and 2 – Normal Shift or B Shift

• Normal Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:15am–5:15pm; Saturday, 8:15am–12:15pm
• B Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–11:00pm; Saturday, 1:00pm–7:00pm

Position 3 – B Shift or C Shift

• B Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–11:00pm; Saturday, 1:00pm–7:00pm
• C Shift: Monday–Friday, 11:00pm–7:00am

Roles and Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and troubleshoot CNC milling and production automation machines.
• Perform CNC machine setup and self-programming using NX software.
• Prepare electrode extraction and NC programmes.
• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance and machinery troubleshooting.
• Monitor production output and adjust machines or processes to meet quality standards.
• Inspect finished workpieces according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and control-related faults.
• Perform adjustments involving robots, servo motors, vision systems and mechanical components.
• Identify preventive actions to minimise machinery breakdowns and production downtime.
• Maintain machine documentation and ensure proper shift handovers.
• Support FAT and SAT activities for new automation machinery and processes.
• Participate in continuous-improvement activities involving cycle time, yield, OEE and production capacity.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Manager or Supervisor.

Job Requirements

• NTC-2, NTC, NITEC, Diploma or technical certification in Precision Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in CNC machining, CNC milling, machine setup, manufacturing automation or equipment maintenance.
• Able to read engineering drawings, machining specifications and process documents.
• Able to use measuring instruments for inspection and quality checks.
• CNC milling and NX software programming experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and control systems is advantageous.
• Experience with robotics, servo motors or vision systems is advantageous.
• Knowledge of EDM, Wire Cut or toolroom machines is an added advantage.
• Able to commit to one of the available fixed shifts.
• Safety-conscious, responsible and able to work independently or as part of a team.
