Data Protection Officer (6-month contract)

Your tasks

We are looking for an experienced Data Protection Officer to cover a maternity leave. You will be the designated DPO for the organisation, managing day-to-day data protection compliance.

• Act as the designated DPO and primary contact for regulators on data protection matters
• Monitor compliance with PDPA and internal policies, and advise stakeholders on obligations
• Conduct and review Data Protection Impact Assessments
• Lead data breach investigations and coordinate remediation
• Review vendor agreements involving personal data
• Deliver training and awareness programs
• Maintain records of processing activities

Requirements

What we are looking for

• At least 4 years of experience in data protection, compliance, or governance
• Solid knowledge of PDPA; familiarity with GDPR is a plus
• Experience conducting DPIAs and managing compliance frameworks
• Strong communication skills and comfortable working with cross-functional teams
