Key Requirements
- RHEL System Administration – Essential
- Hands-on experience administering RHEL 8/9 in enterprise production environments.
- Strong knowledge of OS patching, package management (dnf/yum), SELinux, and system hardening.
- Experience with RHEL EUS lifecycle management and version upgrades.
- Familiarity with RHEL subscription management, Red Hat Satellite, and image-based deployments such as RHEL Image Mode/Bootc.
- OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) Administration – Essential
- Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, and administering OCP 4.x clusters.
- Experience with Day-2 operations, including node management, Machine Config Operator (MCO), cluster upgrades, certificate management, and resource quotas.
- Knowledge of OCP networking, storage, and RBAC.
- Experience with OCP security hardening, including SCC and network policies.
- Familiarity with Quay registry administration and mirror registry setup for restricted or air-gapped environments.
- Enterprise Container & Integration Platforms
- Experience designing or supporting containerised architectures using OCP/Kubernetes.
- Working knowledge of IBM MQ, including queue manager administration, channel configuration, troubleshooting, and HA.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, API gateway integration, and container image lifecycle management.
