Finance Reporting Officer

Responsibilities:

Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial and management reports.

Produce P&L reports, balance-sheet schedules, cash-flow reports and financial analysis.

Track business performance across products, partners, countries, payment channels and revenue lines.

Analyse transaction volumes, revenue, fees, commissions, margins and operating expenses.

Monitor revenue and profitability by product, partner, merchant, channel and corridor.

Support annual budgeting, periodic forecasting and variance analysis.

Review bank, partner, merchant, wallet and settlement reconciliations; investigate discrepancies.

Prepare financial reports, dashboards and presentations for the CEO, CFO and Management.

Support ad-hoc financial analysis for strategic and commercial decisions.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related discipline.

3-5 years of relevant finance, financial reporting, management accounting or financial analysis experience.

Prior experience in a fintech, payment company, remittance company, bank, microfinance bank or similar transaction-based business strongly preferred.

Strong understanding of financial statements, management reporting and financial controls.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Power BI and SQL knowledge an advantage.

Professional accounting qualification (ICAN, ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or progress toward one is an advantage.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, integrity and ability to work under pressure.
