Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the annual budgeting process and provide monthly/quarterly rolling forecasts. Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and present insights to the executive team. Strategic Growth: Analyze market trends and competitor data to identify opportunities for expansion or cost-saving. Risk Management: Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations while maintaining robust internal controls. Team Leadership: Oversee accounting/accounts payable/receivable teams and foster a culture of professional development. Cash Flow Management: Monitor liquidity and manage investment strategies to optimize company capital. Develop long-term financial plans, budgets, and forecasts in alignment with corporate objectives and market trends Develop and enhance internal reporting processes

Requirements:

Possess a bachelor's degree with a 2:1 in accounting or finance with 6 years of continuous experience in finance and 2 years in a managerial position within a banking or financial sector Relevant professional qualification in ICAN, ACCA Must be currently working with a financial or banking institution BankOne Accounting Software knowledge is an added advantage A master's degree in accounting or finance is an added advantage Knowledge of the use of the BankOne core application is an added advantage Experience in building and maintaining financial models and driving business decision support Advanced level of business and commercial acumen A proven track record of using data to solve complex business problems. Sound financial presentation method. Experience in preparing professional reports and presentations Good use of Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Bankone.
