Role Description The Marketing Assistant internship at TheATIRC is an on-site role based in Abeokuta. The intern will support day-to-day marketing activities, including assisting with market research, gathering customer insights, and helping to execute sales and marketing campaigns. Responsibilities include engaging with customers, supporting basic sales efforts, drafting simple marketing communications, and helping maintain organized records of marketing data and performance metrics. The intern will collaborate with the marketing and sales team, contribute ideas for outreach initiatives, and help coordinate promotional activities and events. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in a professional setting, building foundational skills for a future career in marketing and sales.

Qualifications

Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members. Foundational Market Research capabilities, including gathering, organizing, and interpreting basic market and customer data. Interest in Sales and Sales & Marketing, with the ability to support campaigns, follow up on leads, and assist in promotional activities. Basic understanding of marketing principles and willingness to learn tools such as social media platforms and office productivity software. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability in completing assigned tasks on time. Ability to work on-site in Abeokuta, collaborate effectively in a team environment, and follow guidance from supervisors. Currently enrolled in or recently completed a program in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical interest and experience).
