Position: Apartment Supervisor

Reports to: Manager

Location: Benin City, Edo State

Employment type: Full time, on site shifts

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Supervisor is the on ground presence who keeps Bel Air Luxury Apartments running smoothly throughout the day and into the evening, stepping fully into guest facing duties once the Manager has closed for the day.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct guest check ins and check outs, including key handovers, when the Manager is off duty
• Inspect each apartment unit before guest arrival to confirm it is guest ready, clean, and fully stocked, using the apartment inventory form
• Receive and attend to guests directly for any requests, questions, or issues that arise after hours
• Verify guest identification and ensure details are recorded for submission to the State CID
• Monitor security, control access to the property, and work directly with the on site security guards
• Coordinate urgent repairs with artisans or retained contractors, escalating to the Manager only when necessary
• Oversee cleaners, laundry personnel, and the porter on shift, ensuring turnover between guests happens on time
• Handle emergencies or urgent situations as the first point of contact when the Manager is unavailable, including power outages, fire, break ins, or a guest medical issue
• Assess and document any damage or missing items at checkout before the guest leaves
• Report daily activity, incidents, and guest feedback to the Manager

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of OND, or equivalent qualification
• At least 1 year of experience in a hotel, apartment, or hospitality supervisory or guest-facing role
• Strong communication skills and a professional, presentable manner
• Comfortable working shifts, including evenings, and being the senior person on site when the Manager is off duty
• High level of integrity, reliability, and sound judgment in guest-facing and emergencies
• Basic understanding of building maintenance and the ability to coordinate repairs
