Jira Administrator

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Jira administration, workflow automation, system customization, and platform support, with the ability to deliver scalable solutions that meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain Jira , Jira Service Management (JSM) , and Confluence .
• Manage and support Jira Data Center environments, ensuring platform stability, performance, and security.
• Design, customize, and optimize workflows, screens, permissions, issue types, and automation.
• Develop and maintain custom solutions using ScriptRunner , JMWE , and other Atlassian marketplace apps.
• Build dashboards, reports, and analytics using EazyBI to support business decision-making.
• Implement system enhancements, change requests, and new feature configurations based on business needs.
• Perform application maintenance, upgrades, patching, and platform health monitoring.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolution for platform-related incidents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective Atlassian solutions.
• Ensure adherence to best practices for governance, security, and system administration.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Jira Administration.
• Proven experience administering Jira Data Center .
• Strong expertise in ScriptRunner , JMWE , and EazyBI .
• Solid experience with Jira , Jira Service Management (JSM) , and Confluence administration.
• Experience in application maintenance, upgrades, and platform support.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with good command of English
