Profile

For this position, we are seeking an experienced professional with a completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. You have at least 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience in machine engineering and possess extensive experience with 3D CAD software, such as Inventor or a similar program. In addition, you have in-depth knowledge of applicable standards, guidelines, and manufacturability, and possess strong analytical skills. You are capable of independently analyzing and resolving complex technical issues. You have excellent communication skills and know how to effectively engage stakeholders at various levels with your ideas and solutions. You have experience mentoring junior engineers and/or leading projects. Furthermore, you work both independently and effectively within multidisciplinary teams, making a significant contribution to the collective result.

Function description

As a senior mechanical engineer specializing in machine design, you will be working daily on:

• Providing technical advice to clients and internal stakeholders regarding feasibility, manufacturability, and optimization
• Translating client requirements into concrete concepts and designs
• Establishing, monitoring, and improving project-specific engineering standards and processes
• Performing and verifying complex (technical) calculations
• Drafting and reviewing (sub-)specifications and technical documentation
• Creating and reviewing conceptual, detailed, and production drawings
