PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To look after the tooling activities in a section of the manufacturing process so as to fulfill the production requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE ROLE
Key responsibilities attached to the role:
- To adhere to monthly tooling provision plan in line with PPC plan.
- Responsible for tooling activities in all the processes, i.e. Ring Forming, Hobbing & Induction Hardening.
- Planning activities for P.M. & new tooling procurement.
- Critical spare management.
- Responsible to control tooling-related breakdowns.
- Responsible to train the new associates in Tool Room department.
- Responsible for reduction in tool cost, i.e. Hobs & Tooth Chamfer Cutters.

Financial Accountability (with exclusive authority): NA Geographical Scope: Sinnar
SECTION VII: KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education Qualification:
- BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Technical & Professional Knowledge Required:
- Tooling-related knowledge.
- Knowledge of SMED.
- Knowledge of Hobbing and Induction Hardening processes.
- AutoCAD knowledge.
- Hob & Cutter tool-related knowledge.
Experience Required: 1–2 years of experience in the following:
- Tooling activities.
- Training operators/associates.
- Knowledge of tool repairing, maintenance, P.M. & AutoCAD.

- Team Management.
- Time Management.
- Self-Motivated.
