Senior .NET Backend Developer

Speed Odds is looking for an experienced Senior .NET Backend Developer to join our engineering team in Yerevan.

You will work on a large-scale B2B iGaming platform used by sportsbook and online casino operators worldwide. The role involves developing scalable backend services, integrating third-party APIs, payment providers, sportsbook feeds, casino providers, wallet systems, and maintaining high-performance enterprise applications.

You will have the opportunity to work on complex backend systems, contribute to architectural decisions, and build reliable services that operate at scale in a production environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C# and .NET

Build and maintain scalable RESTful APIs

Develop and maintain backend services and distributed systems

Work with SQL Server databases and optimize queries and database performance

Integrate third-party gaming providers, payment gateways, sportsbook feeds, and other external APIs

Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms

Write clean, maintainable, testable, and well-documented code

Write unit and integration tests

Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability

Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, QA, and other technical teams

Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues

Contribute to improving engineering practices, development standards, and system architecture

5+ years of professional experience with C#

Strong experience with .NET 8 / ASP.NET Core

Experience with .NET Framework

Strong knowledge of SQL Server and database optimization

Experience with Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core

Strong experience developing RESTful APIs

Experience integrating third-party APIs, web services, webhooks, and external systems

Experience designing and developing microservices

Experience with Memcached or other distributed caching technologies

Experience developing, deploying, or maintaining Windows Services

Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and async/await

Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns

Experience with Dependency Injection and LINQ

Experience with Git and modern version control workflows

Experience with IIS and Windows-based application deployment

Understanding of authentication and authorization

Experience writing unit and integration tests

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Good written and spoken English
