Scrap Recycling Supervisor

Responsibilities:

Supervise daily scrap recycling and sorting operations. Inspect incoming scrap loads to detect and remove rejects (iron, contaminants, etc.). Monitor weighbridge activity to ensure rejects are not passed off as usable scrap. Lead, train, and discipline sorting staff to follow proper recycling procedures. Keep accurate records of accepted and rejected scrap. Report irregularities or suspected malpractice to management immediately. Ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping standards in the scrap yard.

Requirements:

Minimum of HND in any discipline. At least 2 years’ supervisory or factory experience (manufacturing, recycling, or FMCG preferred). High integrity and zero tolerance for dishonesty. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify anomalies in materials. Good leadership, record-keeping, and reporting skills.
