Folder Gluer Operator

Platinum Press is a large pharmaceutical packaging company in Ft. Worth (just South of DFW Airport in the CentrePort Business Park) and is expanding with an additional folder/gluer line to meet growth in carton demand! Seeking experienced "Carton Folder/Gluer Operator(s)" with carton structure knowledge to run either Bobst Media 100 and/or Heidelberg Easygluer 100 with Leary glue systems. MUST BE proficient with assorted carton structures (ie; straight-line, auto-bottom, standard reverse tuck, display, full overlap end, French reverse) and others. Must have knowledge of straight line, auto bottom/crash lock bottom, 4 corner, Straight Tuck, Reverse Tuck and specialty folds. Must be able to guide catchers and packers and ensure quality products only. Must be able to do maintenance and light repairs to the machine. (Includes glue system) Knowledge of inserter and tip - ons a plus. All SBS board stocks, no corrugated. Proficiency with PC's for job tickets and data collection for waste and job counts along with ATS skills a BIG PLUS! Work with Carton Prep Manager and Set-up Operator to learn assorted layouts, minimums and maximum flaps and glue tabs for quality small carton converting.
