The Associate Engineer is responsible for supporting enterprise and digital solutions used by internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Enterprise & Digital Solutions Support:
  • Provide ongoing production and change request support for enterprise and digital applications(e.g. Helix, Service Web Portal,B2B, Order Service & Management, SharePoint, Qlik, etc.) and their associated interfaces with ERP/S2C and OSS/BSS applications.
  • Analyse and document business processes to configure and optimise enterprise and digital applications effectively.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Configure, test, and implement enterprise and digital applications, including related updates, to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Monitor enterprise and digital application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective measures.
  • Manage system integrations for enterprise and digital applications, with other applications or platforms.
  1. Data Analytics and Reporting:
  • Design and develop data models, dashboards, and reports using business intelligence tools (e.g., Qlik, Power BI, etc).
  • Analyse large datasets to generate actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Develop automated solutions for data collection, transformation, and reporting.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and security across all analytics processes.
  • Maintain documentation for all queries, reports, dashboards, and data sources.
  • Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders through presentations and visualisations.
  1. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and IT, to ensure seamless system implementation and process alignment.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on enterprise and digital applications and data analytics tools.
  • Communicate system updates, changes, or issues to relevant stakeholders clearly and effectively.
  • Act as a liaison between business users and IT teams to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
  1. System Maintenance and Compliance:
  • Perform the necessary IT General Controls (ITGCs)associated with enterprise and digital applications, data analytics tools, and related interfaces.
  • Liaise with vendors on project implementation, application testing, system upgrades, patches, and support in accordance with project methodologies and policies.
  • Ensure enterprise and digital applications comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  1. Project Management:
  • Lead or support enterprise, digital, and analytics-related projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
  • Develop project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring delivery is timely and within budget.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to achieve project success.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned to support departmental and organisational objectives.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent, preferably with relevant experience in OSS and/or the telecommunications industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of tools such as SQL, Python, and workflow applications would be advantageous.
  • Experience in Linux environments and application server setup is advantageous.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
  • Pro-active, meticulous, resourceful and strong team player.
  • Able to work independently under tight schedules.
  • Able to work well with stakeholders across all functional levels in the organisation.
